PowerTCP Mail for ActiveX
PowerTCP Trial Operation

If you install a PowerTCP product without registering a Serial Number, it operates as a fully functional trial for up to 30 days. If you need more time to evaluate the product, reinstall it; the trial period will start over.

Trial Notification in Development Mode

When you insert a PowerTCP control on your form or dynamically create one, the control checks for a Serial Number. When it does not find one, a dialog box appears identifying the product as a trial. This dialog box does not appear if you are running under IIS; this allows the product to work within the ASP environment as a trial. After the trial period expires, you cannot insert the control without first reinstalling it.

Trial Notification during Compile

PowerTCP controls request a Serial Number when you compile your application. A dialog box appears warning you that the component is not licensed for deployment. Do not distribute your application using a trial productthe component will not work after the trial period! However, you may test your application during your trial period. To continue testing after the trial period, reinstall the product and recompile your application.

See License Installation for more information on product registration.
